Martin’s Bookkeeping and Accountancy Services Limited (BAS) is a family owned and operated business, set up by Diane Martin in 2002. Diane has attained her advanced bookkeeping and accounts qualifications from the International Association of Bookkeepers in 1995.

Elizabeth (Libby) Virtanen has been working for the company since the beginning of 2018 to carry on the business. Libby is Diane’s Daughter. Libby comes from a financial industry background, having worked for organisations such as AXA and Skandia in pensions and investment operations. In addition to a BA  Mathematics degree from University of Southampton, she has attained Level 2 AAT Bookkeeping with accounts and ACCA Diploma in Accounting and business (RQF level 4). Libby is currently working towards her ACCA Advanced Diploma in Accounting and Business.

 

The company also enjoys the expertise of, Kim Martin as he is Libby’s mentor in her studies, Kim is a fellow chartered accountant (FCA) with 39 years of experience working in industry. Kim does not work for Martins BAS as he is currently still working as the finance director of several different companies.
